We are more than willing to work with clients to ensure they receive the appropriate amount of care based on their needs. While we don’t require a minimum amount of hours please be mindful that it can be harder to staff a lower amount of daily hours. Feel free to give our office a call to inquire about availability and discuss a care plan with one of our office staff.

New clients who have completed an in-home or by phone consultation can typically start within the same week, but there are circumstances where the wait may be longer depending on caregiver availability. Please contact the location branch to inquire about specific caregiver availability.

In some cases, clients may be able to choose a caregiver they already know and trust. This could be someone who is already providing support or someone the client would like to have join their care team.

All client-selected caregivers must complete CareGivers NW’s standard hiring, screening, training, and employment requirements before providing paid services.

Currently only our Idaho and Oregon branches are covered by Medicaid and some long-term insurance plans. All other locations are private pay only.

Yes, we are compliant and certified to provide services within the areas listed.

All of our caregivers go through a thorough background screening, drug test, and verified reference check. We also provide extensive training that includes shadowing caregiver specialists before starting with clients of their own.

Our caregivers meet state-mandated training requirements including but not limited to: Infection control, nutrition and hydration, diets and meal prep, medication reminding, medical and non-medical emergencies, fire safety procedures, hygiene assistance, housekeeping, transportation/errands, laundry assistance, behavioral issues in seniors, and more!
